Post Production Services

( Overview )
International post production services including video editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, visual effects, mastering, versioning and localization.
Full Description
Video editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, visual effects, mastering and versioning for films, campaigns, documentaries, television and digital content.
A finished film is not simply raw footage after it has been cleaned up.
It is the point where story, rhythm, image and sound finally agree.
Global Untold Story provides international post production services for brands, agencies, broadcasters, platforms, production companies and creators.
We can join from the first day of filming, begin with an existing library of footage, refine a rough cut or take over during the final stages of finishing and delivery.
Some projects need one editor.
Others require a complete post production team managing hundreds of assets, several languages and multiple delivery specifications.
We build the workflow around the project.
ENTER AT ANY STAGE
Not every project arrives in the same condition.
You may have raw footage that still needs to be reviewed. You may already have a strong edit that requires color, sound and mastering.
You may have a completed campaign that now needs cutdowns, regional versions and platform adaptations.
We can join at any of these stages:
Rushes and raw footage
Media preparation and organization
Story development
Assembly edit
Rough cut
Fine cut
Locked picture
Color and sound finishing
Motion graphics and visual effects
Versioning and localization
Final mastering and delivery
The first step is understanding what already exists, what is missing and what the final content needs to achieve.
CONTENT WE FINISH
Our post production services can support:
Television commercials
Brand and campaign films
Documentaries and factual series
Corporate and industrial films
Television programs
Podcasts and video podcasts
Event films and live recordings
Social and performance content
Training and educational films
Original entertainment formats
Music and performance content
Government and institutional content
International production material
Multilingual campaigns
Short form and digital content
Every format requires a different editorial rhythm, technical workflow and delivery structure.
POST PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
STORY EDITING AND NARRATIVE STRUCTURE
Editing begins with understanding what the material is trying to become.
We review the footage, interviews, scripts, brief and intended audience before shaping the story.
The process may involve discovering a new structure, removing unnecessary information or finding connections that were not visible during production.
Editorial support can include:
Rushes review
Interview review
Story structure
Paper edits
Scene development
Narrative restructuring
Performance selection
Pacing
Message clarity
Alternative editorial routes
Director and client review sessions
Final story approval
A strong edit does not show everything that was filmed.
It keeps what the audience needs.
MEDIA PREPARATION AND ASSISTANT EDITING
Complex projects can quickly become difficult to manage without a clear media structure.
Before creative editing begins, we organize footage, synchronize sound, prepare proxies and build a reliable project structure.
Media preparation can include:
Footage ingest
File verification
Camera and sound synchronization
Proxy creation
Project organization
Scene and interview logging
Transcript preparation
Multi camera synchronization
Metadata management
Naming systems
Backup verification
Editor handover preparation
A disciplined setup saves time during every later stage of post production.
OFFLINE EDITING
Offline editing is where the main creative decisions are made.
We assemble the material, test different structures, refine performances and develop the rhythm of the final film.
Offline editing can include:
Assembly edits
Rough cuts
Fine cuts
Interview driven films
Documentary editing
Commercial editing
Multi camera editing
Music driven editing
Archive integration
Temporary graphics
Review versions
Client and agency feedback rounds
The process continues until the story, duration and creative direction are ready for final finishing.
ONLINE EDITING AND PICTURE FINISHING
Once the edit is approved, the project moves into final picture preparation.
We reconnect the original media, check every frame and prepare the film for color, sound, graphics and delivery.
Online services can include:
High resolution conform
Shot replacement
Reframing
Stabilization
Retiming
Image cleanup
Screen replacement
Title integration
Final transitions
Broadcast safe checks
Text and logo verification
Picture master preparation
This stage ensures that the approved edit survives the move from working files to the final master.
COLOR CORRECTION AND COLOR GRADING
Color shapes the emotional world of the film.
It can unify footage from different cameras, create a distinctive campaign look or help documentary material feel coherent across changing locations and conditions.
Color services can include:
Technical color correction
Shot matching
Skin tone correction
Exposure balancing
Creative color grading
Look development
Camera matching
Day and night balancing
Product color accuracy
Broadcast compliance
Platform specific checks
Final graded masters
The grade is developed around the story and visual identity, not applied as a generic preset.
SOUND EDITING, DESIGN AND MIXING
Sound often determines how polished, emotional and believable a film feels.
We clean dialogue, build atmosphere, shape transitions and create a final mix that supports the image without competing with it.
Sound services can include:
Dialogue editing
Noise reduction
Audio restoration
Sound effects
Ambience
Foley
Sound design
Music editing
Voice over integration
Stereo mixing
Surround mixing where required
Loudness compliance
Final audio mastering
The final mix is prepared for the environment in which the content will be experienced, whether television, cinema, mobile, social media or an event screen.
AUDIO CLEANUP AND RESTORATION
Field recordings are not always captured under controlled conditions.
Wind, traffic, room noise, electrical interference and inconsistent microphone levels can affect otherwise valuable material.
Audio restoration can include:
Background noise reduction
Hum removal
Click and pop repair
Wind reduction
Dialogue isolation
Level matching
Frequency correction
Distortion reduction
Room tone rebuilding
Problematic interview repair
Not every recording can be restored perfectly, but many problems can be reduced enough to protect the story.
MUSIC DIRECTION AND ORIGINAL COMPOSITION
Music should guide emotion without telling the audience what to feel too aggressively.
We can support the project through licensed music selection, music editing or the coordination of original composition.
Music support can include:
Creative music direction
Reference development
Music search
Licensing coordination
Original composition
Arrangement
Music editing
Theme development
Version adaptation
Final music mix
Licensing terms, territories, platforms and intended usage should be confirmed before release.
MOTION GRAPHICS AND VISUAL EXPLANATION
Graphics can give a film identity, clarity and structure.
We create motion systems that support the content rather than covering it with unnecessary decoration.
Motion graphics can include:
Titles
Lower thirds
End frames
Brand animation
Product information
Maps
Timelines
Data visualization
Diagrams
Interface animation
Explainer sequences
Social templates
Broadcast graphics
Reusable campaign toolkits
Where several deliverables are required, the graphics system can be designed for efficient adaptation across formats and languages.
VISUAL EFFECTS AND CGI
Some ideas cannot be captured entirely during production.
Visual effects and computer generated imagery can extend locations, clean unwanted elements, visualize products or create complete sequences.
Services can include:
Compositing
Object removal
Screen replacement
Image cleanup
Beauty work
Rotoscoping
Tracking
Matte painting
Product visualization
Three dimensional animation
Environment work
CGI integration
Reconstruction
Final visual effects finishing
The technique should serve the idea.
It should not become the idea unless the project requires it.
AI ASSISTED POST PRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence can improve speed and expand creative options when used with judgment.
We apply AI assisted workflows where they provide genuine value, particularly in cleanup, organization, transcription, adaptation and selected visual development.
Possible uses include:
Transcription
Footage search
Translation assistance
Noise reduction
Image cleanup
Object removal
Resolution improvement
Background extension
Version development
Concept visualization
Selected generative elements
AI generated or materially altered content should be reviewed carefully for accuracy, rights, ethics, continuity and brand suitability before release.
CUTDOWNS AND MULTI FORMAT VERSIONS
One master film rarely meets every communication need.
We plan and create additional versions for different platforms, audiences, markets and stages of the campaign.
Deliverables can include:
Six second edits
Ten second edits
Fifteen second edits
Thirty second edits
Long form versions
Vertical versions
Square versions
Widescreen versions
Alternative openings
Different calls to action
Product variations
Audience variations
Social media clips
Clean versions
Textless versions
Where possible, versioning should be considered during production so that the necessary coverage already exists.
SUBTITLES, CAPTIONS AND ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility and language support should be part of the delivery plan, not a final afterthought.
We prepare subtitles, captions and supporting files according to the intended platforms and audience requirements.
Services can include:
Transcription
English subtitles
Arabic subtitles
Multilingual subtitles
Closed captions
Speaker identification
Sound effect descriptions
Subtitle timing
Burned in subtitles
Separate subtitle files
Accessibility versions
Language quality review
The final format is selected according to the delivery destination and accessibility requirements.
LOCALIZATION AND INTERNATIONAL VERSIONS
Content should feel natural to the audience receiving it.
We manage language versions while protecting timing, tone and visual consistency across markets.
Localization can include:
Script translation
Cultural adaptation
Voice over
Dubbing
Dialogue replacement
Subtitle creation
Graphics replacement
Localized end frames
Legal line adaptation
Market specific edits
Language specific masters
International delivery packages
The workflow can support one additional language or a larger multi market campaign.
MASTERING AND QUALITY CONTROL
The final master must meet the requirements of the channel receiving it.
We prepare content for broadcasters, streaming platforms, cinema, events, websites and paid media according to the required technical specifications.
Mastering can include:
Picture and sound checks
Frame rate confirmation
Resolution checks
Color space checks
Audio channel mapping
Loudness compliance
Codec selection
Caption verification
Text and logo checks
Broadcast masters
Digital platform masters
Cinema packages where required
Clean masters
Archive masters
Quality control is the final opportunity to catch errors before the content reaches the audience.
DELIVERY AND ASSET MANAGEMENT
Large campaigns can produce hundreds of files.
Without a clear delivery system, teams lose time identifying the correct version, language or format.
Our delivery workflow can include:
File naming systems
Version control
Approval tracking
Organized folder structures
Master and derivative separation
Language organization
Platform organization
Delivery logs
Secure file transfer
Archive preparation
Source file handover
Final delivery documentation
Every recipient should be able to identify the correct file without opening several versions first.
REMOTE POST PRODUCTION FOR INTERNATIONAL TEAMS
Post production does not require every stakeholder to be in the same city.
We work with directors, producers, agencies, brands, broadcasters and platforms across different markets through structured remote review and approval workflows.
Remote collaboration can include:
Secure media transfer
Review links
Time coded feedback
Live editing reviews
Director sessions
Agency and client approval rounds
Version tracking
Centralized notes
Restricted access where required
International delivery
A clear feedback system keeps the project moving even when several teams and time zones are involved.
ONE MASTER. EVERY VERSION IT NEEDS.
The value of post production extends beyond creating one finished film.
A well structured post production workflow can generate:
Main master film
Shorter campaign edits
Social media cutdowns
Vertical and square versions
Broadcast masters
Localized versions
Speaker or product edits
Event versions
Clean masters
Textless masters
Archive materials
Future campaign assets
Planning these outputs early protects the budget, timeline and creative consistency of the project.

Sharing the current project status and required outputs allows us to recommend a realistic workflow and budget direction.
HOW LONG DOES POST PRODUCTION TAKE?
The timeline depends on the project length, footage volume, creative complexity, approval process and final deliverables.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a typical production take in Egypt?
- A commercial or corporate film usually needs two to six weeks from brief to delivery, depending on permits, locations and the post schedule. Live events follow the event dates. We lock a calendar before the shoot so international crews can book travel against it.
Do you work with international crews or only local teams?
- Both. We run full local productions and we attach to incoming crews as the on-ground partner — permits, fixing, equipment, locations and finishing — so the visiting team keeps creative control without building a vendor chain from scratch.
Where are you based?
- Egyptian Media Production City in Cairo, with offices in Business Bay, Dubai and Jeddah. That is the same EMPC campus used for studio, rebate and finishing work, which keeps logistics inside one standard.
