TV Shows and Live Broadcast Production

( Overview )
Studio shows, talk shows, field segments, live broadcasting and multi camera production for television networks, streaming platforms, institutions and brands worldwide.
Full Description
Television production depends on more than cameras and a studio.
A show needs rhythm, timing, editorial clarity and a technical system that can perform consistently.
Presenters need direction. Guests need preparation. Every department needs to understand what is happening next, especially when the production is live.
Global Untold Story develops and produces television shows, digital formats and live broadcasts from the first concept through final delivery.
We can create a new format, produce a pilot, manage a complete season or join an existing production with the specific creative, editorial and technical support it requires.
We work across studio, field and hybrid production environments, building each workflow around the format, platform, audience and production scale.
TELEVISION FORMATS WE PRODUCE
Our production services can support:
Talk shows
Interview programs
News and current affairs formats
Magazine shows
Entertainment programs
Competition and game shows
Business and financial programs
Cultural and educational formats
Sports and gaming shows
Branded television formats
Government and institutional programs
Live specials
Digital studio shows
Remote and hybrid broadcasts
Field based factual programs
Concert and performance broadcasts
Talent led formats
Audience participation shows
Podcast and video podcast formats
Every format has its own production language.
A live interview show cannot be built like a game show, and a weekly digital series should not inherit an expensive television workflow it does not need.
We build the system around the show.
TV SHOW AND BROADCAST PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
FORMAT AND SHOW DEVELOPMENT
A television show must be more than an idea that works once.
It needs a repeatable structure that can hold different guests, subjects and episodes without becoming predictable.
We help shape the format from the audience proposition through the episode structure.
Development can include:
Core show concept
Audience definition
Format structure
Segment development
Episode rhythm
Presenter role
Guest logic
Recurring features
Set and visual direction
Pilot structure
Season planning
Format bible
Digital extensions
Commercial integration opportunities
The goal is to create a show with a clear identity and enough flexibility to grow over time.
PILOT PRODUCTION
A pilot tests more than the concept.
It reveals whether the presenter works, whether the segments flow, whether the studio supports the format and whether the production can be repeated within the intended budget and schedule.
Pilot production can include:
Format refinement
Script and rundown development
Presenter testing
Guest booking
Set and studio planning
Graphics development
Rehearsals
Multi camera recording
Test transmission
Pilot editing
Internal review versions
Audience testing where required
Development recommendations
Updated production planning
The pilot should help decision makers understand what the show can become, not simply demonstrate that it can be filmed.
SEASON PLANNING AND PRODUCTION STRUCTURE
A successful episode is not enough if the production cannot sustain an entire season.
We design repeatable workflows covering editorial preparation, guest coordination, scripts, crew, studio time, rehearsals, recording, post production and delivery.
Season planning may include:
Episode calendars
Production schedules
Editorial deadlines
Guest booking systems
Crew structures
Studio planning
Budget frameworks
Approval workflows
Recording and delivery timelines
Archive organization
Quality control
Contingency planning
Season launch requirements
Digital publishing schedules
A strong production system protects consistency without making every episode feel identical.
RUNDOWNS, SCRIPTS AND EDITORIAL WORKFLOW
Live and recorded shows depend on a clear rundown.
Every segment needs a purpose, a duration and a defined transition into what follows. The production team must know what is happening while the presenter still feels natural on screen.
Our editorial support can include:
Episode rundowns
Presenter scripts
Introductions and links
Interview structures
Segment timing
Questions and talking points
Research briefs
Guest notes
Visual cue planning
Commercial break structure
Last minute editorial updates
Control room copies
Teleprompter scripts
Running order management
The rundown is not paperwork.
It is the map that keeps the entire production moving together.
STUDIO MULTI CAMERA PRODUCTION
Studio television requires close coordination between the floor and the control room.
Camera operators, sound, lighting, graphics, playback, presenters and producers all need to respond to the same live direction.
Our studio production support can include:
Multi camera direction
Camera planning
Vision mixing
Floor management
Stage management
Studio crews
Lighting coordination
Audio mixing
Playback systems
Teleprompters
Presenter monitoring
Recording and backup workflows
Studio audience coordination
Intercom and communication systems
We can work inside an existing studio or assemble the required production structure around the format.
LIVE DIRECTION AND CONTROL ROOM PRODUCTION
The control room is where the show becomes a broadcast.
Control room support can include:
Live directing
Vision mixing
Producer coordination
Timing control
Graphics cues
Playback cues
Camera communication
Presenter communication
Commercial break management
Remote contributor coordination
Recording supervision
Transmission coordination
Show calling
Live problem solving
The objective is controlled energy.
PRESENTER AND GUEST DIRECTION
The strongest technical production cannot rescue a weak on air performance.
Our support can include:
Presenter coaching
Format orientation
Script rehearsal
Teleprompter training
Interview technique
Timing and cue awareness
Live recovery techniques
Guest briefing
Panel moderation support
On camera feedback
Performance review
Ongoing season coaching
Chemistry testing
Presenter and guest rehearsals
Direction is adapted to the person.
FIELD PRODUCTION AND RECORDED PACKAGES
Many studio shows depend on material produced outside the studio.
Field reports, interviews, documentary packages and location segments give the program visual range and allow subjects to be explored beyond the conversation desk.
Field production can include:
Interviews
News packages
Presenter led segments
Documentary inserts
Location reports
Profiles and human stories
Behind the scenes coverage
Vox pops
Event based segments
Multi location filming
Archive integration
Remote contributor recordings
International field production
Pre recorded opening sequences
Each package is produced according to the tone, duration and editorial needs of the show.
LIVE BROADCASTING
A television program may need to reach audiences through several channels at the same time.
We can coordinate live outputs for television, digital platforms, private networks and branded channels while maintaining one connected production workflow.
Live delivery can support:
Television channels
YouTube
Digital and streaming platforms
Private websites
Internal networks
Remote viewing systems
Hybrid productions
Multiple digital outputs
Regional platform feeds
Recorded backup masters
The final structure depends on the studio, transmission route, platform requirements and available connectivity.
REMOTE GUESTS AND HYBRID PRODUCTION
Guests do not always need to be inside the studio.
Remote interviews and hybrid formats can expand access to contributors across different cities and countries, but they require careful preparation to avoid weak sound, inconsistent images and uncomfortable delays.
Support can include:
Remote guest testing
Connection checks
Camera and sound guidance
Remote contribution platforms
Return video
Presenter and guest communication
Live delay management
Backup connection planning
Remote recording
Visual consistency
Technical rehearsals
Hybrid control room workflows
Remote interpretation feeds
Contributor technical support
Remote contribution should feel like part of the show, not an interruption to it.
BROADCAST GRAPHICS AND SHOW IDENTITY
Graphics help the audience understand what they are watching and give the show a recognizable visual language.
We create graphics packages designed around the format, channel identity and technical workflow.
Graphics can include:
Show openers
Closing sequences
Lower thirds
Name straps
Topic titles
Stings
Transitions
Data graphics
Timelines
Maps
Social media integrations
On screen prompts
Sponsorship elements
Digital screen content
Scoreboards and voting graphics
Reusable episode templates
Every element is prepared according to the requirements of the control room, playback system and final delivery workflow.
SET DESIGN AND STUDIO VISUAL DIRECTION
The set is part of the format.
Its scale, layout, screens, seating and lighting all influence how the show feels and how efficiently it can be produced.
Studio visual support can include:
Set concept development
Production design
Desk and seating layouts
Screen planning
Background content
Lighting direction
Camera movement planning
Branding integration
Presenter positions
Guest positions
Audience layouts
Temporary studio builds
Modular set systems
Virtual and extended set elements
The design must look strong on camera while supporting the practical needs of the show.
BROADCAST AUDIO
Television audiences may tolerate an imperfect image before they tolerate unclear sound.
Broadcast audio planning may include:
Presenter microphones
Guest microphones
Panel sound
Audience microphones
Music playback
Remote guest audio
Studio ambience
Communication systems
Audio mixing
Recording and backup feeds
Final broadcast mix
Post production sound
Simultaneous interpretation feeds
Multi language audio routing
Every speaker should be heard clearly, regardless of how complex the studio becomes.
RECORDING, INGEST AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT
Television production generates a large volume of material.
Without a clear recording and archive system, footage becomes difficult to locate, reuse or repurpose.
Our workflow can include:
Program recording
Isolated camera recording
Clean feeds
Graphics feeds
Audio splits
File naming
Media ingest
Backup copies
Episode folders
Archive organization
Delivery tracking
Long term content libraries
Metadata organization
Version control
A structured archive allows the production to reuse interviews, packages and key moments across future episodes and digital content.
POST PRODUCTION AND EPISODE FINISHING
Not every program is transmitted live, and even live shows often require edited versions.
Our post production team can manage:
Episode editing
Segment editing
Timing adjustments
Highlight packages
Social media clips
Color correction
Sound editing
Graphics integration
Music
Promos and teasers
Clean versions
Final mastering
Quality control
Platform versions
International versions
Episode archive masters
The editorial style remains consistent across the season while allowing each episode to find its own energy.
PROMOS, CUTDOWNS AND DIGITAL EXTENSIONS
A show should continue reaching audiences after the original broadcast.
We can transform episodes into shorter content designed for digital discovery, social sharing and future promotion.
Deliverables can include:
Episode promos
Coming up clips
Best moments
Interview highlights
Short vertical edits
Topic based clips
Presenter clips
Guest quotes
Social teasers
YouTube versions
Reels and short form content
Season trailers
Podcast versions
Behind the scenes content
Sponsor cutdowns
This gives the program a wider content life without weakening the main broadcast.
LOCALIZATION AND INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Programs designed for regional or international audiences may require several language and delivery versions.
Localization services can include:
Arabic and English subtitles
Multilingual subtitles
Closed captions
Voice over
Dubbing
Dialogue replacement
Script adaptation
Graphics replacement
Textless masters
International delivery files
Platform specific versions
Archive packages
Multi language audio versions
Localized promos and cutdowns
Localization should be considered early so that later versions remain consistent and efficient.
LIVE PRODUCTION RELIABILITY
Live television depends on preparation.
Every technical system has potential points of failure, so important productions require backup thinking before transmission begins.
Depending on the show, the production plan may consider:
Technical rehearsals
Backup recordings
Isolated camera feeds
Alternative playback files
Audio backups
Power protection
Communication systems
Presenter recovery plans
Replacement segments
Emergency timing options
Remote guest backups
Transmission contingencies
Alternative connection routes
Backup graphics and media
Escalation procedures
No live production is completely risk free.
Strong preparation gives the team more ways to protect the broadcast when something changes.
FROM ONE SHOW TO A COMPLETE MEDIA PROPERTY
A strong format can become more than a television program.
With the right structure, one show can generate:
Full episodes
Digital clips
Podcast versions
Social media content
Behind the scenes material
Sponsor integrations
Live audience extensions
Newsletter content
Archive libraries
Regional adaptations
Branded segments
Future seasons
Format licensing opportunities
Live events
Talent led extensions
We can help design the show as a repeatable media property rather than a sequence of disconnected episodes.

Sharing the concept and expected production model allows us to recommend a realistic structure and budget direction.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DEVELOP AND PRODUCE A SHOW?
The timeline depends on the development stage, format complexity, pilot requirements, studio availability, presenter and guest preparation, graphics and number of episodes.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a typical production take in Egypt?
- A commercial or corporate film usually needs two to six weeks from brief to delivery, depending on permits, locations and the post schedule. Live events follow the event dates. We lock a calendar before the shoot so international crews can book travel against it.
Do you work with international crews or only local teams?
- Both. We run full local productions and we attach to incoming crews as the on-ground partner — permits, fixing, equipment, locations and finishing — so the visiting team keeps creative control without building a vendor chain from scratch.
Where are you based?
- Egyptian Media Production City in Cairo, with offices in Business Bay, Dubai and Jeddah. That is the same EMPC campus used for studio, rebate and finishing work, which keeps logistics inside one standard.
