Supporting a Hong Kong TV Crew Filming Across Egypt

For a Hong Kong television production later broadcast on TVBC, Global Untold Story provided the on-ground production services in Egypt required to support a multi-location international shoot.

The project demonstrates how we support production companies, broadcasters and media crews travelling from China and international markets to film in Egypt, providing the local infrastructure and coordination needed to operate efficiently on the ground.

For this specific production, the visiting team handled the filming, creative direction and post-production, while Global Untold Story managed the local production requirements around them, including permits, locations, transportation, logistics and day-to-day coordination.

The production travelled across Cairo, Giza, Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel, requiring detailed planning across multiple locations and filming environments.

Film Production Services in Egypt for Chinese and International Crews

International productions filming in Egypt often require local knowledge of permits, location access, archaeological-site regulations, transportation, logistics and production procedures.

Global Untold Story works as a local production partner for Chinese production companies, broadcasters and international crews, providing a single point of coordination throughout their production in Egypt.

Our support can be tailored to productions arriving with their own directors, producers and technical teams, or expanded into a complete local production setup with crew, equipment and post-production services provided by our team.

Film Permits and Location Coordination in Egypt

Filming across Egypt, particularly at archaeological and protected locations, requires careful coordination with the relevant authorities.

Our team supported the production with filming permits and location coordination, aligning the crew's shooting requirements with access, schedules and practical production considerations.

From the Giza Pyramids and historic Cairo to Upper Egypt and locations along the Nile, our role was to help the visiting production move efficiently between locations while managing the necessary local arrangements.

For international crews planning to film in Egypt, having an experienced local production company helps simplify these processes before the team arrives and throughout the shoot.

Production Logistics and Transportation

For a television production travelling across several Egyptian cities, production logistics become a major part of the operation.

Global Untold Story coordinated transportation and production logistics throughout Egypt, including domestic flight tickets, airport movements, daily crew transportation, intercity transfers and long-distance production travel.

Schedules were planned around filming hours, travel times, location access, driver requirements and available daylight, helping the crew maintain an efficient production schedule across multiple cities.

Airport Meet & Assist and Local Production Support

Our production support began from the crew's arrival in Egypt.

We arranged airport Meet & Assist services and provided continuous local production support throughout the project, assisting with scheduling, coordination, troubleshooting and day-to-day production requirements.

This allowed the visiting production team to remain focused on their creative work while our team managed the operational side of filming in Egypt.

Nile and Boat Production Logistics

The production also included filming on the Nile.

Our team coordinated the required boat logistics, including arranging an additional boat that allowed the visiting crew to capture exterior shots of their main boat and complete their planned shooting coverage.

Details like these are an important part of production servicing, particularly on projects involving multiple environments, transportation methods and filming requirements.
